$15M has been stolen from Yearns unreleased project. It is saddening to see that another project from the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) community goes down the drain after a 15M loss.
The unreleased project "Eminence" tagged the economy for a gaming multiverse" built by Yearn ended in tears. This happened only a few moments after the art teaser was posted on twitter by the developer. After doing this, the developer went to sleep on 28th and expected to wake up fresh and refined.
It was saddening and weird to realize that the hype and excitement to launch something new has been exploited and drained. However, the hacker tried and opted to refund $8M back to the account of the developer before the developer woke up.
This is threatening, and Cronje announced that the refunded eight million would be refunded back by Yearn Treasury. He also continued by saying the ecosystem or contract isn't dying, and there are plans for the project release in another three weeks.
