After a rally in tandem with the Wall Street open on April 13, Bitcoin (BTC) held on to new rises on April 14.
BTC/USD was still selling for over $41,000 on April 14, according to figures from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView, having recaptured the $40,000 level during the run higher.
"So far so good, I anticipated a rise to 41K but I'm not sure about going for an extra leg down to the green box (blue)," Crypto Ed, a prominent trader, said overnight with a chart showing near-term price objectives.
At the time of writing, the price of $40,500 showed no indications of collapsing, with instability fading into April 14 and Bitcoin's rally facing no serious threats.
Despite the lack of bullish sentiment, some took advantage of a positive mood to claim that Bitcoin was beyond bearish this year.

The lower the time preference, the less cause for concern – even after plunging over 50% from November's all-time peaks, Bitcoin exhibited more than a superficial similarity to traditional market behavior, as fellow analyst TechDev highlighted.
This month's focus was on a trend line that resembled the Dow Jones at the start of the 1990s.
"The times have changed. Assets change throughout time. The majority of the time, macro aggregate human activity does not "The following is a summary of TechDev.
Bitcoin's stock correlation is still a source of concern for some, with a drop expected to influence the price.
Twitter founder Jack Dorsey's first-ever tweet, which auctioned for USD 2.9 million in ethereum (ETH) back in March 2021, was re-auctioned and was anticipated to bring at least USD 50 million, but has only got an offer of just around USD 6,200.
Sina Estavi, an Iranian crypto entrepreneur and the CEO of Bridge Oracle, a decentralized finance (DeFi) project, bought the NFT after a race with Justin Sun, the Founder of Tron (TRX), who was also willing to purchase the token and had placed a USD 2 million bid.
Estavi has chosen to resell the NFT after over one year to raise USD 48.8 million.
He announced on Twitter last Thursday, claiming that he would contribute half of the revenues (estimated to be more than USD 25 million) to the charity GiveDirectly.
Unfortunately, the NFT has attracted the maximum bid of ETH 2 (USD 6,222), which is 99.9% lower than Estavi's projected bid. Three days ago, the offer was made.
However, crypto fans have attributed the NFT's disinterest to the fact that it is nothing more than a "JPEG" with no value.

"There's no way to get rich off of it, and there's no way to use it in any way. If you're purchasing jpg NFTs such as this one, consider them more of a donation to the seller (i.e., an artist you admire and wish to assist, etc.) than an investment "According to one Reddit member.
Others claim that not all NFTs are "JPEGs" with no practical application. "Non-fungible tokens are intriguing, notwithstanding the public's association with meaningless jpg," one Reddit user wrote, pointing out that most people are unaware of NFTs' actual ability.
An NFT might, for example, be used to provide entrance to an event, exclusive in-person memberships, or future digital usage. The NFTs of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) is an excellent example. They provide holders with special benefits and privileges, and they will be incorporated into a variety of blockchain-based games.
