The Lightning Network (LN) used to be one of the most hyped scalability solutions for Bitcoin. It even successfully stole the attention of Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey. However, as time goes by, not many entities have adopted Lightning Network due to its complexity and other hurdles. And then, there’s Strike app, which envisions Lightning Network adoptions by connecting the LN with a bank account or a debit card.
Strike app has launched its beta phase that allows direct interaction with the LN without exposing users’ wallet and channels. They also claim that the KYC procedures in Strike app are not as thorough as other usual crypto applications. They want to keep the KYC process minimum while still being compliant at the same time.
