Framework lab has acquired $8 million in a fundraising round conducted by station13, an investment company that focuses on blockchain ventures relating to the entertainment and sport sector.
This funding acquired would be used to build the research group, sellers, and engineers at Framework lab. The firm recently employed the ex-CTO and co-founder of decentralized exchange IDEX, Roy Pulver and ex-principal at Wavemaker partners, Roy Lerner.
On the 27th of August, Forbes reported that a new investment system called network capital had been developed by the creators of Framework labs, Vance Spencer and Micheal Anderson. The system is used to invest in decentralized finance organizations at several stages. They would also be able to incubate startups, offer stakes, provide investment, and develop new applications on the protocols.
Spencer stated that the blockchain space is taking its own shape and starting to accomplish product-market fit at scale, but traditional investors remains unconcerned in the aspect of DeFi.
