The Electronic Frontier Foundation, an international digital user rights group based in California exposes Coinbase for its deficit transparency while comparing it to its rival, Kraken. The EFF reported on September 3rd that it is worried about payments processors being compelled to release user's information to law enforcement.
Observation shows that most private personal information requested by law enforcement is financial data. It should be put into consideration that crypto holders value privacy, and it would therefore affect the users deeply if centralized exchanges choose to accept the government's request for private information.
