A Harris Poll has estimated around 1 to 10 Americans have used stimulus checks to invest in cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum.
A study by Mizuho Security also revealed that $40 billion out of $370 billion in direct stimulus subscribed to bitcoin.

Polls conducted by Hand showed that 1 in 10 Americans have used stimulus checks to invest in cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum.
Also publications by a Japanese banking firm Mizuho Securities revealed that $40 billion out of the $380 billion in direct stimulus would go toward bitcoin and stocks, this was determined by a poll of 235 individuals who make less than $150,000 annually. Also$24 billion out of the aggregate of 60 % would possibly flow into bitcoin (BTC)
While in a recent publication by the Harris poll, claims that 1 in 10 U.S. citizens have used their stimulus checks to invest in cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum.
Harris poll is a reputable American Market Research and Analyst Company that was created back in 1963. The company has studied the sentiment, behaviours and motivations of U.S. adults for 65 year. The survey that revealed a tenth of Americans that used stimulus to buy either bitcoin (BTC) or ethereum was recorded in March 12-15,2021.
Yahoo Finance also participated in the poll which is also four times larger than the Mizuho survey as the Harris poll surveyed 1,052 Americans ages 18 and above.
The study results are as follows "a recent study finds that about 15% of Americans who received the last two stimulus checks invested part or all of the money from these checks and about half of this group invested specifically in cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum".
Other important updates from the news include; that after the last two stimulus checks, there has been an increase in those willing to invest in cryptocurrencies.
According to Harris polls, three significant were observed, hence; the increase in the hoarding of funds by Americans for savings as against rainy days, investing funds in cryptos like BTC and ETH, and finally non-essential spending habits as purchasing entertainment and electronics.
Also 52% of Americans surveyed said that before the covid-19 pandemic, the condition of their household finances remained the same. While five of the participants agreed that their economic situation has improved compared with before the pandemic hit.
Equally 29% said their financial situations have worsened since the onset of the covid-19 outbreak.
The biggest spending trends were in areas like rent, mortgages and groceries, which recorded 43% of the population. And 36% put the money aside
