STOCKS VERSUS CRYPTOCURRENCISES

There is a lot of stuff going on right now, not only in the cryptocurrency market but also in the stock market as well. There will be a lot of transition of wealth from the stock market to the crypto market; we already see this happening as many crypto platforms were so backed up to the extent that their websites shut down from a massive surge of traffic and new sign-ups.

Bitcoin would have hit $40,000 if this major back-up did not occur, but this means that buying pressure will continue to trickle in over the week. That will be useful for holding the price up to and continuing to push upwards, leading towards the launch of PayPal crypto merchant payments by the end of Q1.

Getting into Stocks versus Cryptocurrency, Bitcoin is traded on thousands of exchanges while stocks are listed on one exchange only by design; more markets tend to reduce manipulation. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are listed in hundreds of exchanges with hundreds of trading pairs, you can see this anytime you want, and each exchange has multiple trading pairs. It is much harder to manipulate this market when so many of them spread out so much, and there is so much money in the market. For example, ahem Robinhood cut off everyone from buying Gamestop stocks, this forces the price down since everyone that was buying Gamestop was using Robinhood or one of these apps, not being on a lot of markets hurt this and crypto being on a lot of markets means that it is much harder to manipulate like that. You can trade cryptocurrency 24/7, every single day of the year, and you can not do this with stocks.

Bitcoin does not have insiders, other cryptos age less decentralized than Bitcoin, but most are more decentralized than stocks, which have legally defined insiders. The smaller cryptocurrency gets, the more manipulation and insider trading.

Crypto exchanges charge much lower fees; Stock trading involves high and often hidden costs. If you are using a broker, especially to trade stock, there will be different types of fees for every trade. As for cryptocurrency, you can jump into an exchange, and it is generally a minimal fee per transaction; usually, it is a small percent of the trade. It is essential to consider how much money you could be saving in costs when considering whether to trade in stock or trade in crypto.
