"Every improvement contributing to your outstanding experience is our daily motivation."- Remitano

The safety of our users is integral to Remitano’s core mission and a top priority for our partners that chose Remitano as their home. Today, we are announcing a partnership with HackerOne, a trusted cybersecurity provider, to ensure a positive and safe environment for our users trading on Remitano.

Cybersecurity Issues

This year, more than ever before, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, vast droves of people have been turning to cryptocurrency to broaden their incomes. The widespread crypto adoption has created a huge bonanza for criminal actors, with new gaps and opportunities to exploit.

Cyber attackers through malicious bots, web fraud, phishing, DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service), credential stuffing, and ransomware, attempt to steal valuable user data, including intellectual property, personal identifiable information, and financial data.

Even so, these attacks have become increasingly targeted at cryptocurrency exchanges and are complex due to more sophisticated pieces of malware being leveraged. Improved cyber defense mechanisms to mitigate the security risks and challenges now attached to cryptocurrencies have, in turn, become even more eminent.

Remitano and HackerOne Partnership

HackerOne is a bug bounty leader, collaborating with global teams of ethical hackers and penetration testers to help businesses detect vulnerabilities before the bad guys beat them to it. Some of its customers are tech giants, such as Goldman Sachs, Spotify, Nintendo, Google Play, Slack, HBO, Toyota, PayPal.

On the occasion of our partnership, HackerOne is thrilled to partner to introduce an exclusive bounty program solution to our platform. “Safety and security” have never mattered more; HackerOne independent, third-party ratings provide users with the highest degree of confidence in its cybersecurity solutions.

These cybersecurity solutions, offered by HackerOne, will create a high level of safety to verify and filter a variety of individuals who use technology to commit malicious activities on our networks.

Remitano Bug Bounty Program on HackerOne is now public

Brand safety for us begins with user safety. We believe that keeping a brand safe starts with keeping our community safe to transact their trades.

Launching a bug bounty program is getting ahead of the game by being proactive and predictive. A bug bounty is also an alternative way to identify software and configuration errors that can slip past developers and internal security teams. It may expose the organization’s systems to bigger problems.
