[Crypto Q&A] Considering the recent spree for Aave tokens which saw overwhelming ATH in January 2021 much more than any altcoin in the market, should it be considered a better option than Ethereum investing?

Some altcoin have their moment of pump to showcase make-believe sentiment in the market. Sometimes, the price uptrend could have been caused by hyping activities more than other genuine factors. In the case of Aave, it value pumps have been caused by its increasing demand for Defi and Staking. Aave momentary price uptrend is not a sufficient ground to displace Ethereum. It would have to demonstrate proven metrics of sustainable set track records that Ether had delivered with better key performance indicators and market capitalization much better.
