1. Brave Browser Partners with Binance to support cryptocurrency trading

Developers of Brave Browser revealed on Tuesday that the privacy browser will launch an in-browser trading app by April. Thanks to Brave partnership with Binance, users will be able to deposit, change, buy and trade cryptocurrency within Brave Browser.

Although the widget has been partially launched, it is only accessible on Brave’s developer browser. CoinDesk stated that most of those features are currently available. A complete and fully functional version of the Browser will be released to the public in April.

2. Coinbase gives users new ways to earn, supports wrapped BTC and Altcoins

American crypto exchange Coinbase launches give its customers new ways to earn interest on their crypto assets with the incorporation of DeFi applications.

With DeFi integration, Coinbase wallet users can now invest their cryptocurrencies by lending them to smart contracts and earn interest in return. The DeFi lending only supports Ethereum and Ethereum-based token Wrapped Bitcoin and ERC20 tokens such as DAI, BAT, REP among others.

Lenders can earn as much as 4% per annum depending on which coin or contract they invest in.

3. Cryptocurrency investors believe India could lead to cryptocurrency adoption

The Supreme Court of India’s decision to lift the ban on cryptocurrency some weeks ago has had a positive impact on the crypto market. Notable crypto investors and businesses are planning to dominate the Indian market.

Giant Bitcoin investor, Tim Draper stated in an interview that the court’s order was perfectly timed. Draper is optimistic about the decision and looks forward to investing in cryptocurrency startups in the country. He also mentioned that Bitcoin could be a safe haven for Indian users in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Another reputable crypto personality who gave his view on the situation is CoinDCX CEO, Sumit Gupta. Sumit said that Bitcoin’s investment has gone up since the ban was cancelled. He added that since the Indian market is now friendly to crypto businesses, the country will witness a rise in cryptocurrency investment.

4. Mobile Bank Offering Crypto Services Launches in the United States

The mobile bank, Rovulut based in London which was founded in 2015 has opened its services to the citizens of the United States. Clients in the US can now sign up and apply for a payment card. The FDIC insures deposits that are up to $250,000.

The majority of Revolut customers are based in Europe and the United Kingdom. With over 10 million users, Revolut offers equity trading, insurance brokerage, and fiat exchange.

For now, only the core features of the bank will be available to customers in the US, crypto services will be included at a later date.

5. Users Use the Coronavirus Market as an Opportunity to accumulate Crypto

According to the CEO of crypto.com, Kris Marzalek, the volume of transactions from December to February has doubled and download of the app is at its peak. Crypto.com which is headquartered in Hong Kong offers an app-based crypto trading platform and crypto payment platform via a debit card powered by Visa.

Kris Marszalek said that the recent growth in the crypto market might be due to several nations’ central banks attempt to stabilize the economy. To combat the effect of the COVID-19, the US Federal Reserves is planning to buy a large number of securities backed by mortgages and Treasury bills to boost its financial system.
