Bankrupt crypto lender Celsius Network stated in the early hours of Thursday that it has submitted a request to prolong the exclusivity period for its reorganization schemes, giving it time to work and create a very good plan. Celsius is currently facing a string of lawsuits alongside its bankruptcy procedures.

A recent motion filed pitted the stakeholders of the company against its clients over who gets an edge over the blockaded lender's assets and repayment.

A judge also temporarily barred Celsius from paying a $3 million retention bonus to certain employees.

The plan, which Celsius' legal representative claims is important and needed to restrict the company's workers from going to other companies, would split the relatively modest $3 million in requested funds into special compensation for 62 of the company's 274 present workers.
