Crypto collectibles are nothing new. There are various crypto startups that have launched crypto-collectibles in recent years. However, crypto collectible directly endorsed by a government entity is definitely a good testimonial for the future of the crypto industry. And that’s exactly what happened with Lithuania.

The central bank of Lithuania has decided to open an e-commerce store to purchase crypto collectible coins to celebrate the country’s declaration of Independence. For those who are interested in collecting the coins, they must register prior to July 23. The central bank claimed that there are 24,000 tokens that will be sold to the collectors.

These collectible coins will be sold for 99 euros, and their ticker is LBCOIN. People who buy LBCOIN will be allowed to convert the crypto coins straight to physical silver or just trade it among themselves if one wants to sell to another.

The central bank of Lithuania is one of the most open-minded central banks in the world in terms of adopting cryptocurrencies. While many other central banks still hesitate to adopt the blockchain and cryptocurrencies, Lithuanians seem to think it’s a much better idea to directly embrace it.
