BITCOIN CRASH

The entire cryptocurrency market has been going down ever since today, led by a significant Bitcoin sell-out from the big holders. But the question now is, is the sell-out over, or is it just beginning? Are we getting to see a significant correction this week? We only hope to have enough buyers who will keep Bitcoin's price above $50,000 to close out the week.
Today was a day of volatility, and we are certainly paying the price for that bullish performance we have been getting from Bitcoin.
Bitcoin went down by 20% in a short time, it was bought off very quickly, but it's still dropping. Billions of dollars worth of longs were liquidated on the major exchanges; this is one of the most significant daily liquidations ever. These sell-offs and correction periods, in the long run, are very healthy for the market. They help tame down the greed, reset the indicators, reset the market a bit, and calm things down.
We are now back to the price where Bitcoin was four days ago.

We could see Bitcoin coming back down to test some other vital areas of support in the days to come.
The area where Bitcoin bounced today at $46,700 is a fundamental level overall; it was an area of a lot of price confluence and support for Bitcoin.

Looking at the RSI, we are getting a classic bearish divergence on the weekly charts. We are reaching higher highs for the price, lower highs for the RSI.

Going back to the 2017 bull market, it played out almost the same, the higher highs colliery by a minor run just like now. The RSI may lower highs across a multi-week period.
In these situations, we saw a massive correction for Bitcoin, with Bitcoin down 36% and 41%, respectively; we could be getting ready for a similar situation right now.

There was a massive spike in exchange inflows minutes before the crash started picking up speed; it was a 16 week high of exchange inflows. A lot of it came from miners who had been depositing large sums of Bitcoin to exchanges over the last few days.
Social volume for investors to buy the dip was also deficient during this dip compared to previous dips. This sell-off saw a drop for major whale accounts; total accounts holding 1000 Bitcoin or more dropped from 2462 just a week ago to 2416. This means that 46 whales have sold so much Bitcoin that they are no longer whales. This represents tremendous selling pressure.
We are seeing heaving profit taking right now by miners and by whales at the new all-time highs.
