Celo, a rival Facebook Libra cryptocurrency initiative, recently welcomed 50% more additional participants to its coalition, increasing the total amount of helping organizations to 75. Some Celo leaders still endorse the Libra initiative, such as Coinbase Ventures, Anchorage and Andreessen Horowitz.

The Celo Foundation reported a 50% rise in the number of its leaders on Tuesday. The Foundation clarified that "The reach of participation remains centred around the usage of instances, the advancement of financial inclusion and sustainability, and the implementation of Celo technologies."
