Billion dollar investment manager Skybridge Capital aims to introduce the Bitcoin Fund

In mid-November, the filing was reported with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has proven that the investment company Skybridge Capital will invest in crypto assets such as bitcoin. About a month back, Skybridge Capital filed another U.S. registration form. SEC (Form D) aims to start a bitcoin fund.

The investment management company of Anthony Scaramucci, Skybridge Finance, is introducing a cryptocurrency fund named the Skybridge Bitcoin Fund L.P.

The Skybridge Fund news arrives from the submission of Form D Securities and Exchange Committee.

New York-based business holds more than $9.2 billion in funds under control (AUM) and the filing reveals that it plans to run a bitcoin (BTC) fund with approved holders.

According to the submission submitted on 21 December 2020, it would be for accredited buyers who are willing to buy $50k or more.

It is a pooled investment and hedge fund, and Skybridge has refused to reveal the scale of the issue. In addition, the Skybridge Bitcoin Fund would adopt Rule 506(c) which requires the solicitation and general declaration of a bid to accredited investors.

In 2005, Skybridge Capital was established by Anthony Scaramucci, Brett S. Messing, Raymond Nolte and Troy Gaveski.

News of the Skybridge Bitcoin Fund filing on Monday follows the company's clarification that the firm's G II Fund "may hold long and short positions in digital assets."

Of course, after the Type D file was released for the Skybridge Bitcoin Fund, the supporters of Bitcoin debated social networking input and forums.

"Boom, kid! Skybridge Capital is doubling down on Bitcoin," Kevin Rooke tweeted. "They just registered the Skybridge Bitcoin Fund with the SEC one month after they allowed two of their other funds to invest in Bitcoin."

The founder of Skybridge Anthony Scaramucci was also the former Director of Communications of the White House. Scaramucci said in an interview that "a fan" of cryptocurrency and assumes that "digital assets have a future."

The creator of Skybridge also interviewed Anthony 'Pomp' Pompliano and discussed bitcoin and emerging systemic problems in America.

"There's something," Scaramucci said to Pompliano. "There is value in the notion that I can exchange value with you, confidentially—and I can exchange it through a mechanism that looks very secure."

"Blockchain is going to get tighter, more reformed and more secure," Scaramucci said. "People will have more confidence in it, and I don't think it can be stopped."
