Piper Sandler, an American Independent Investment Bank and Services Company has divulged "taking stock with teens"; revealing that 9% of U.S. youths (18-44 years) have traded cryptocurrencies.
According to Piper Sandler's report, the number one place for American youths to shop online with the digital currency was the Amazon.

81% of youths from a sample of 7000 teenagers polled, said that they have traded on digital currencies.
A new study that surveyed 7,000 American teenagers has been published by Piper Sandler Companies, revealing that cash is (still) king for teens and this is followed by Apple Inc and Venmo.
From the report, it was revealed that 9% of American teens that trade on cryptocurrencies, were to enable them to make online purchases of food, video games and clothes.
According to Piper Sandler's survey, the proportions of American crypto traders within the age bracket of 18-44 years were as follows; 19% were females, while a greater majority of 81% were males.
This survey is part of a semi-annual research project that has more than 201,800 teens since 2001. The mean age of the teenagers surveyed was 16.1 years from a poll of 7,000 American teens.
The financial institution has claimed that its data was gathered from a geographically diverse subset of high schools across the U.S.

Responses from Piper Sandler's from a questionnaire on the country's economy were as follows; 46% of teen believe the economy is getting worse, 48% said it was falling, and 25% of teens believe it is getting better.
The findings of the financial company is related to similar surveys, which has proven that cryptocurrencies and bitcoin are favoured by younger people.
A recent study by Gemini shows that young people are interested in digital assets, especially people between the ages of 18 and 44 and any age after that starts to see a decline.
Piper Sandler's survey does not give any other information in anything more than just that these teens have at least at one time have traded crypto assets.
In conclusion, 9% of the population that have traded digital currencies and subsequently 9% of their wallet shares goes to video games or console purchases as well.
