The growth of synthetic Bitcoin has increased tremendously in the past weeks. About 38,021 BTC are circulating on the Ethereum blockchain. The top BTC project is the bundled bitcoin protocol (WBTC), which is about 44,622 or 63 percent. This is the most advanced BTC minting scheme. With 16,268 renBTC circulating today, the Ren Protocol has over 23 percent of the total synthetic BTC aggregate.
At the time of writing, the token hBTC comprises 4,810 and the token sBTC, 2,918. The two least synthetic BTC programs are imBTC (1,173) and pBTC (45).WBTC has gained more momentum, and Monday estimates that the Alameda Study acquired 70 percent of the WBTC minted in August. The FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried co-founded Alameda.
