Dharma Rolls out Social Payments for Twitter Users

News • 2020/04/22 • by Remitano

Dharma is one of the frontiers of disruptions in the financial sector, powered only through the Blockchain. On April 21, 2020, the franchiser announced it was decentralizing payments for Twitter users.

In other words, today, you can send USD to any Twitter handle, regardless of where that person lives — even if they don’t have a Dharma account. Dharma users can access payments to Twitter directly from their Smart Wallet as long as they have ample funds in their account. The only further move is to retweet the payment to the twitter bot, and to mark the beneficiary in such a manner that they are alerted.

Payment recipients will follow a connection provided by the bot to set up a Dharma account and attach it to their Twitter account to claim the money. However, the amount of interest would be received by Compound even before it is reported.

Dharma’s Borderless Payments

Dharma is one of the blockchain startups rebuilding the way we do present-day finance. The company’s promising innovation isn’t the premier of the industry. Other organizations have embarked on the same fruitfulness. However, when it comes to leveraging Twitter space, as an avenue of digital banking, Dharma’s undoubtedly a winner.
