Samsung, the biggest Android phone maker in the world, has been embracing the crypto and blockchain technology for quite some time. And by the look of it, they don’t plan to stop anytime soon. It’s reported that Samsung has made a new solution to advance smartphones’ crypto security.

The solution involves a new, improved software and a Secure Element chip S3FV9RR. With the combination of the two, it’s believed that the whole process of a smartphone operation can be significantly secured, including mobile transactions and even the booting process itself. Considering there are plenty of Samsung Galaxy users out there with cryptocurrencies, this new solution will help Samsung provide extra peace of mind for them.

The new Secure Element chip mentioned above comes with CC EAL 6+ security protocol, which is adopted by crypto hardware wallet devices as well as e-passports. It’s believed that the Samsung phones will become much more secure because of the addition of this chip.

The addition of this solution is warmly welcomed by crypto enthusiasts. Previously, Samsung also introduced its own crypto wallet app when it unveiled its last year’s flagship phone, the Galaxy S10. Samsung is one of the mainstream tech companies that like to explore new opportunities by leveraging blockchain technology.
