According to the investigators, a surveillance video found in the residence revealed that a man came into the backyard of the residence a day before when it was noon and left thirty minutes later, holding a gun, an athletic bag, and a Roomba that hinted at being used to hide a safe.
The owners of the residence had reached out to the police men and informed them that the missing safe, which was carted away by the unknown man, contained Bitcoin account details and passwords that had been unlocked and operated to gain entry into accounts and transfer a sum of Bitcoin worth $470,000.
After identifying the man, whose name is Michael Jason Neria, he was arrested on the 3rd of March 2021 at the Winstar Casino located in Oklahoma on charges of burglary. The police mentioned that Neria was suspected of also being involved in a massive dozen of burglaries. However, he was not the only one involved. He was aided by some other known accomplices.
After several interrogations, Neria surrendered and revealed the details of the burglaries. They found out that one of them stayed at the Gaspar Drive Home.
