Following President Joe Biden's approval of a $1.9 trillion stimulus package into action last week, many Americans are supposed to collect $1,400 checks. According to new research, a large portion of these funds could end up in the cryptocurrency sector.

According to a report published today by Mizuho Securities, 10% of the approximately $400 billion in funds provided directly to Americans could be used to buy Bitcoin (BTC) and stocks.

According to the new bill, American citizens who make below $75,000 a year will receive a $1,400 payment. Direct stimulus support is available to families earning less than $150k a year, with a maximum of $2,800 for a couple and $5,600 for a family with two children. About $380 billion of the $1.9 trillion relief package signed by US President Joe Biden were set aside for direct stimulus reviews.

The Japanese investment banking and securities company recently surveyed 235 people who made less than $150,000 per year. The survey focused on stimulus spending, or what Americans are expected to buy with their direct checks. Close to 40% of participants said they would make direct payments in BTC and stocks, with 61 percent preferring Bitcoin to stocks.

It was thought that many people invested their funds in cryptocurrencies after receiving direct stimulus checks for $1,200 and then $600.

This is the third direct payment made to those affected by income poverty as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many Americans received $1,200 direct payments from lawmakers in April 2020, as well as $600 checks in January. Following the asset's rise to more than $60,000 in 2021, crypto users who invested the entire $1,200 in Bitcoin last year may have made as much as $10,000 in profits at the time of writing.

This survey report is very good for fortunate American investors who key into BTC with their stimulus package.
