Cardano saw a 50 times increase in large transaction
Cardano has seen an increase in interest from corporate purchasers, according to IntoTheBlock, a blockchain analytics business. It claims that the cryptocurrency's on-chain activities valued at over $100,000 would have increased by 50 times in 2022 only.

According to the company's tweet from yesterday, approximately 69 billion ADA were exchanged due to such huge deals. They accounted for nearly 99 % of Cardano's entire on-chain activity.
This compares to a trading volume of only 1.35 billion ADA on January 1st, a 51-fold rise since then. Since mid-2018, it has been one of the biggest amounts ADA has experienced.
According to market statistics, the token's circulation is still about $1.4 billion, indicating that all these operations are taking place over the counter.

The price of ADA has also risen sharply in response to the recent crypto market upswing, rising 20.7 percent vs. 11 percent for Bitcoin.
Also, since the beginning of the year, the overall number of Cardano addresses has increased from 3.5 million to 5 million. Other currencies, such as Shiba Inu, are witnessing a decrease in wallets with a balance.
Like average transaction size, several indicators have remained stable, despite Cardano's prominence in DeFi. While the $300 million invested in its DeFi protocols has increased significantly since the beginning of the year, it is still overshadowed by Ethereum's present market capitalization of $126 billion.

BTC mining difficulty soars higher
The Bitcoin (BTC) mining difficulty reached a new all-time high on Thursday, reducing miners' profit margins.
The Bitcoin mining difficulty, or the indicator of how tough it is to vie for mining benefits, jumped 4.13% to 28.59 T, up from the prior all-time high of 27.97 T in mid-February.
Although that percentage isn't the largest this year, it was enough to propel the difficulty to a record peak since this climb comes after two straight and minor dips that had driven the difficulty below the prior ATH.

Nevertheless, since the last difficulty increase two weeks ago, hashrate, or the network's computing capacity, has decreased somewhat.
Bitcoin mining revenue increased by a little over 14% within the same time frame, as the value of BTC rose from USD 40,922 on March 17 to USD 47,885 on March 29.

Bitcoin's mining difficulty is modified biweekly (or, more accurately, every 2,016 blocks) to preserve the typical 10-minute block period. On March 29, the 7-day moving average block time was 9.54 minutes.
