Blockchain service network in China, a government-backed program, was established around late last year to help medium scale enterprises build and use blockchain apps.

The chief executive officer of Red Date tech, a major tech firm involved in the creation of BSN, Yifan He, in a conversation with Cointelegraph, mentioned that the project would begin to integrate stable coins soon.

He further stated that payments for different services on the network ecosystem would be paid using stablecoin because payments could be easier, quicker, and safer using stablecoins.

BSN involves several settlements among members. The CEO says the stablecoin that would be consolidated into China's blockchain project has not been decided for now, at the present phase of the initiative. This statement was made not too long following the announcement of the international arm of the BSN that no digital currency would be used for its services.

However, stablecoin might still be accepted as a means of payment on the network, says a tweet of 11th of August. Then, the chain network also stated that the project would not issue it's own digital currency because it is not a blockchain platform.
