This initiative aims to minimize stress and tension associated with In Vitro fertilization by providing families with the opportunity to monitor embryo growth using Blockchain, thereby refining IVF procedures.

The project involves a partnership with DNV- a partner of VeChain. DNV and VeChain will work hand-in-hand to equip the project with supply chain governance and product assurance. Since blockchain assets are secured by cryptographic technology, it provides an authentic and progressive environment that facilitates better services that have never been experienced before in IVF.

Major Signals

  • VeChain and Renji hospital to build an IVF monitoring system based on Blockchain.
  • MyBaby to provide better storage and preservation of IVF data.

One of the services offered by MyBaby involves updating VeChain’s Thor Blockchain with every information in every stage of the IVF process, from every picture taken by hospital appliances to the very conversion from egg to embryo.

According to a post on Medium, the advantages of MyBaby are numerous. From giving users the opportunity to observe and oversee removal, sorting, and recording of eggs until they have been cultured and secured as embryos.

The MyBaby program proposes a more reliable security system for important and delicate client details through a deliberate reduction of the number of mediators needed to create and supply information.

Conclusion

Once before in 2019, Renji Hospital had attempted to integrate Blockchain Technology in Medicine through a similar partnership with VeChain, creating the first-ever center for Intelligent Tumor Treatment using Blockchain.

VeChain technology provides services that several organizations across industries have sought out. Some of which include food security and logistics services. Years ago, VeChain collaborated with Ubique Tag to protect genuine alcohol companies from copycats by equipping product packages with QR verification codes.
