The SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk, has recently been explaining on Twitter how he aims to solve Twitter’s spam bot. He allegedly promised to solve the problem by giving it whatever it takes. Musk and Twitter reached an agreement to buy the social media platform for about $44 billion last week.
The owner of the NBA team Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban, recently came up with an idea on how to solve the problem.

In his tweet on Sunday morning, Cuban proposed that everyone put up one dogecoin (DOGE) for limitless Twitter tweets. If a human certifies that a post is a spam, the person who flagged it gets the spammer's DOGE. He added that spammers must post 100 times as much dogecoin. The flagger, however, forfeits his dogecoin if the post is not spam.
Cuban's tweet has been liked over 9K times as of this writing. "I like this," Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus stated. "Not a bad idea," Musk responded.
Many fans of virtual currency have supported the idea and stated that it is a positive move for Dogecoin. However, some people are uncertain about the idea, with some criticizing the need to use virtual currency to access the free social media platform and having to use Dogecoin to prevent spam.

Some users also pointed to the probability of some users exploiting the system to get profits. A Twitter user replied to the Cuban’s post, stating that a user may intentionally flag a user’s post as spam only to get the poster’s Dogecoin.
