The U.S. presidency Candidate, Brock Pierce, was served for his connection to an alleged security fraud while his campaign rally was ongoing in New York earlier today.
The lawyer in charge of the lawsuit, James Koutoulas informed Cointelegraph that the contender was served legal documents relating to a lawsuit against an organization he co-created, Block.one. The organization is renowned for backing the popular EOS $4 billion initial coin offering.
Apart from Block.one, Pierce, was also among the creators of Tether, Blockchain capital, and some other crypto projects. Both projects have been subject to lawsuits, which is still in progress for a couple of years.
Around July, Pierce publicized that he would be contending for United States presidency right after Kanye West's announcement on Twitter. His campaign site noted that he is a founder of cryptocurrency and has made over $5 billion from his established organizations.
