Bankman-Fried has revealed in an interview published by Vox that he regrets his choice to file for bankruptcy, condemning regulators and their act of making it public. The FTX founder regrets deeply his decision, and this seems like something he would regret for the rest of his life.
He mentioned later on Twitter that the intent of the interview, which involved the incessant transfer of messages on the same platform, was not planned to be a public offering.

Though FTX, which filed for bankruptcy in the previous week, has appointed new independent directors to oversee its bankruptcy transition, These new independent directors are in charge of its core affiliated companies, including Alameda Research. Chief Executive Officer John J. Ray and the newly selected directors are working tirelessly to ensure the transition through the bankruptcy process is effortless and smooth, ensuring full compliance with legal policies.
"Raising the funds is essentially all that matters to me for the rest of my life," he said. "Chapter 11" was his biggest mistake. If he hadn’t done it, withdrawals would have begun in a month, with customers fully compensated.
In addition, he said that regulators do not make everything go smoothly. He explained that they are cruel towards customers and do not care about what customers have to lose from their actions. Ray mentioned in a tweet that Bankman-Fried did not identify as an FTX representative at any point and did not fight for its cause. Bankman, in his interview, regrets his actions and reiterates that it was a big mistake to file for bankruptcy.
