The group of hackers popularly known as the Lazarus group or Hidden Cobra has been reported to be backed by Kim Jung-un, the leader of North Korea. This group of hackers are said to have one primary objective which is to steal crypto with the use of phishing scams.
Wanting to prevent an economic meltdown during the COVID-19 crisis, sources say North Koreas has increased its efforts of theses hacks and that advanced persistent threat (APT) attacks would soon begin. Targeted countries seem to include South Korea and international countries such as the United States of America.
