Crypto Doubling scam

woke up this morning to a Facebook notification, that remitano had shared my profile picture, obviously i was suprised so i openned the notification, i say a quote that read send 1-32ETH to this adress and we will double it. naturally. the first thing that came to my mind was excitement as a result of human greed, i was about to start scrambling to see how much ETH i could raise and send to that address, then i decided to calm down and think it true. first thing i realised was that a lot of people also had their profile pic shared by this remitano with the same statement, next i asked myself why would remitano suddenly want to start doubling ETH for people, what would the company gain by doing this, by letting logic sink in, i was able to notice that this remitano page was actually different from the remitano page i was used to, and that this was just a scammer trying to make money off people. the point is in your dealings in the crypto community when you come across a deal too good to be true look at it very well. please share any other scam you came across and how you discovered it was a scam, cheers.
