Malmi Claims to Have Sold His BTC too Soon

Martti Malmi who is among the ancient bitcoin inventor and popularly known as Sirius gave detailed information about his gigantic cryptocurrency holding since 11years ago when bitcoin was invented.

According to a thread on Twitter on 18th December 2020 from Malmi, he mined approximately fifty-five thousand coins between the first two years of bitcoin when the price was more or less zero.

Sirius made mention that he liquidating five thousand and fifty BTC for USD 5.00 in the 10th month of the first year of BTC, and lost thirty thousand bitcoin to one of the earliest BTC trading firms he operated when the exchange rate wasn’t specific and established.

He traded a lot of the coins he had intentions to HODL at the rate of USD 5.00 in 2012. Malmi said he would have been a billionaire if he didn’t sell the fifty-five thousand coins which was mined on his PC in the early years of BTC. He said there were more to bitcoin than individual gains

In conclusion, another cryptocurrency enthusiast Ripple Chief Tech Officer David Schwartz said in October that he sold 40,000 ETH at USD 1.00 in 2012. 40,000 Eth would be over USD 26,000,000 after surpassing USD 600 this past week.

Therefore, Martti Malmi isn’t the only crypto professional and early bird to liquidate their assets out of desideratum.
