November is a different month in BTC's history because many records were set, and some previous records were broken.

Unchained's report shows that 15% of BTC's total volume in circulation was moved in November.

Major Updates

  • Dormant wallet transfer transfers a massive amount of BTC
  • About 17% of bitcoin supply hasn't moved in 2 years
  • The share of bitcoin that has moved in 30 days increased to 8.2% last month

There was a fall from 12.20% to 11.58% in the total number of dormant BTC in November, only in November: about a 5% drop. However, the number of unmoved coins in the last two years also saw a 4% drop from 17.87% to 17.13%. It is also surprising to see the fall of short-term-on-chain BTC.

There was more active BTC wallet in November than any other months in the year, making it the second-highest moth in BTC history. The first highest month was December 2017, when we had 21.6 million active BTC wallet.

November is undisputedly the single month where BTC made lots of history. In November, BTC went from $13,800 to $19,700: that's a rally of about 42%.

The rally of 42% move in November is what makes old dormant BTC to sell off as values were already gained sufficiently to guarantee returns from the last ATH when it was purchased.
