Schwab's Survey Shows That British Youths Prefer Cryptocurrencies To Stock Buying

U.S. financial company, Charles Schwab has revealed British Youths are likely to invest twice on cryptocurrencies than stock, as the company disclooses that it is watching the crypto space closely, but needs additional information before considering providing any cryto services directly to its customers.

Reuters report last week has it that the financial company has about 31.9 million active brokerage accounts.

According to the survey that was conducted between February and March; a total of 1000 responses was pulled and majority were UK investors over 18 years. It was noticed that at least one type of invest out of a list of many were held by these youths. These Investments include; equities, bonds, certificates of deposits (CDs), exchange-traded funds and contacts for difference (CFDs)

Schwab's investigation also shows that 51% of millennial and Genz investors aged 18-35 years traded cryptocurrencies up Fromm 44% May last year, also 70% view cryptocurrencies as a good investment. Meanwhile only 8% investors over 55 years traded cryptocurrencies. In comparison, 25% of young investors bought or held equities.

In conclusion since cryptocurrencies have taken the order of the days, but it is also important to note that these assets are very speculative and don't fit within the traditional asset allocation models
