Remitano will cease support for deposit and withdrawal services on the OMNI network

Announcement • 2021/04/29 • by Remitano

"Every improvement contributing to your outstanding experience is our daily motivation." - Remitano

Remitano will cease support for the OMNI network from April 30, 2021 (UTC).

The OMNI Network is a protocol that’s built on Bitcoin’s blockchain. The whitepaper for OMNI was published back in January 2012. The Omni Layer was particularly popular in the early days of blockchain development as it had little to no competition; however, as more and more competitors emerged, transactions on the Omni network became more and more ineffective than transactions on other protocols with relatively high fees and slow transaction confirmation speed.

To ensure a seamless and better user experience, Remitano will officially cease support for deposit and withdrawal services via Omni standard for USDT wallet. Customers can choose between the ERC20 standard, or the TRC20 standard to deposit and withdraw USDT.
