Update progress on 14/01/2025
Due to the large number of users holding FTM, Remitano announces changes & updates the schedule as follows:
- Complete closing of all FTM deposits and withdrawals
- The FTM balance held by users will be kept in the Remitano wallet, awaiting the rebranding process.
- Remitano will rename FTM to Sonic, expected to reopen deposit and withdrawal feature no later than 20/01/2025
Phase 1: Preparation for FTM Token Delisting (6 January 2025)
- Trading of FTM swaps and other related trading products will be blocked.
- Closure of all liquidity positions associated with FTM.
- Closure of FTM-related limit orders (LOs) and disabling FTM records in Recurring Buy products.
- Verification of frozen FTM amounts during liquidity additions and suspension of limit orders.
Phase 2: Suspension of FTM Deposits and Withdrawals (8 January 2025)
- Deposits and withdrawals of FTM tokens on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network will be halted.
Phase 3: Re-Introduction of Sonic (S) Token
The re-listing of the new Sonic (S) token will be announced at a later date, along with details regarding deposits, withdrawals, and trading.
