Russia is purportedly building a system by using AI to trace and assess trades involving cryptocurrency such as BTC.
The government's new plan is to create a system that can regulate and watch over cryptocurrency trades.
The country's financial monitoring service has been directed to compile and assess monetary trades or deals to battle local and international illegal cash transfers and other finance-related crimes.
The new development will partly take out the invisibility of parties in trades with BTC, ETH, and other systems. The government, Bank of Russia, and financial institutions will be able to utilize the program to watch and assess the transfer of cryptocurrency, identify service suppliers and handle probes relating to the illegal transfer of digital assets.
The program's prototype has been developed by one of the top research colleges in Russia. The country's Ministry of internal affairs was informed of this prototype and agreed to use it.
Presently, the program has been created without cash from the government. But to improve the program and make it government-owned, the government will need a sum of $10.5 million.
