FTX, a crypto trading firm has purchased the renowned Blockfolio app for $150 million to get more relevance in the cryptocurrency retail trade.
The acquisition was completed after almost a year of negotiations involving cryptocurrency, shares, and cash. This deal is one of the largest deals in the cryptocurrency industry.
It was reported earlier this month, that the companies are presently creating a retail app to suit the application's existing service offering. The latest application will be out by next month.
FTX intends to gain more recognition in the crypto market by exploiting Blockfolio prominence. The application has over 6 million customers and has a monthly page view of over 140 million, which permits traders to trace the cryptocurrency cost. Over 600 trading firms make use of the app services to interact with their clients.
FTX started in 2019, and they offer a group of cryptocurrency secondary investment services.
The company stated that the deal allows them to present their string of investment services to a new customer base.
