yes. Successfully mining just one Bitcoin block, and holding onto it since 2010 would mean you have $450,000 worth of bitcoin in your wallet in 2020.

yes obviously profitable but for me not long term. Bitcoin mining the process in which a bitcoin is awarded to a computer that solves a complex series of algorithms is a deeply energy-intensive process. “Mining” bitcoin involves solving complex math problems in order to create new bitcoins. Miners are rewarded in bitcoin

Bitcoin mining began as a well paid hobby for early adopters who had the chance to earn 50 BTC every 10 minutes, mining from their bedrooms.

There are several factors that determine whether bitcoin mining is a profitable venture. These include the cost of the electricity to power the computer system (cost of electricity), the availability and price of the computer system, and the difficulty in providing the services. Difficulty is measured in the hashes per second of the Bitcoin validation transaction. The hash rate measures the rate of solving the problem—the difficulty changes as more miners enter because the network is designed to produce a certain level of bitcoins every ten minutes.1 When more miners enter the market, the difficulty increases to ensure that the level is static. The last factor for determining profitability is the price of bitcoins as compared against standard, hard currency.

In 2021, Bitcoin mining is not very profitable for individual miners In 2021, becuase based on factors such as the initial costs, saturation of the blockchain network, and the value of the block reward.

Crypto mining in 2021 is not a business as usual for pioneering cryptos like Bitcoin, Ethereum and others that have undergone stages of halving! We all know that basic mining in bitcoin started with CPU, GPU and later ASIC mining hardware to solve complex problems within the mining blocks for mining reward that started as 50 BTC per block in 2009. Unfortunately, Bitcoin, Ethereum, others which have undergone past Forks now require greater inputs that are less profitable for individual miners who barely break even from the dwindling mining payouts expected to cover operations cost. Therefore, mining crypto money in 2021 requires high level of tech-innovation, advanced mining equipment, and increasing recurrent electricity consumption complementing large amount of capital needed to run the horse race for institutional stakeholders majorly in the game!
